    Time for a new hobby

I spent the last 2 days training and testing for my Motorcycle Endorsement. I ended up getting 100% on my ride test and 96% on my written test (missed 1). The last 2 days were extremely fun! We had a good group of people (minus the 19yrs old girl that was a show off, late, and slept through parts of the classroom training) and our instructor was great also. The thought of riding a motorcycle is not as intimidating as it was in my mind. I still have concerns with others on the road but some of the skills I learned will help with combating that issue. I am signed up to get my motorcycle endorsement on the 14th and 15th. Then the hunt for a bike will continue. Sent from my SM-G900R4 using Tapatalk

I have actually had to go rescue a friend of mine who was driving a F550 with a pintle hitch trailer. The combined GVW's exceeded 26,001lbs and the officer made him call a CDL holder to finish the trip which was another 8 miles. Sent from my SM-G900R4 using Tapatalk

26,001 lbs is the tripping point where a CDL is required for commercial use. Sent from my SM-G900R4 using Tapatalk

How to visually identify if 6.7L is deleted?

Unless it has a damaged filter. Sent from my SM-G900R4 using Tapatalk

How to visually identify if 6.7L is deleted?

Guy I work with went and look at a 2009 today on a lot. I told him to send me pictures of the engine so I can tell him if it is deleted. In the first picture, notice the Red plate under the plastic cover? That is where the EGR valve used to be. If you zoom in on the 2nd picture, you can see the block off plate on the exhaust manifold where the EGR cooler used to attach and the short piece of hose with the plug in it used to go to the EGR cooler. Then as stated above, peek under and look at the exhaust. Sent from my SM-G900R4 using Tapatalk

    Railroad rail

Ok, my mistake it is per yard. Largest railroad rail was 155lbs/yd. Heaviest crane rail was 175lbs/yd. Sent from my SM-G900R4 using Tapatalk

    Railroad rail

That is small rail. The big stuff weighs 145lbs a foot...... Sent from my SM-G900R4 using Tapatalk

Do you need a DOT# or CDL?

Last time I looked it was $4000 for the school and 400hrs of windshield time to get a CDL. If you have a employer that is willing, you can get a permit and log your hours driven with a CDL holder riding with you and then schedule your trst drive with the state tester. Also, if you take the drive test in a truck with an auto, you will be manual restricted and it will be noted on your license. Then the $150 for the medical card and depending on your health when you get the required physical, they can limit you down to a 1 month card all the way up to the normal 2yr card. If you are over weight and your neck is over a certain diameter, they can require to you to have a sleep study to see if you have sleep apnea. Sent from my SM-G900R4 using Tapatalk

Ppump 24v return line issues (loosing prime)

I had mine timed at 24* with 270BAR injectors and it started and ran ok when cold but with a grid heater. Sent from my SM-G900R4 using Tapatalk

Ppump 24v return line issues (loosing prime)

So, the VP pressure injectors will retard timing a touch. Sent from my SM-G900R4 using Tapatalk
