    There is step by step instructions floating around here somewhere. Take your time and we used a core from NAPA that both copper lines on the heater core swivel. And if it is an auto watch the little thin wire that moves the gear indicator on the steering column.

    Don we are on our second Keystone product and have had no problems other than some cosmetic punch list items identified on delivery. Both were/are Cougar model 5rs. The one we have now is a sab318 triple slide. Nice coach and it weighs in at +/- 10k loaded. Phil

    Yep, going easy on it for a while. Shifting is better than ever however the noisy clutch will take some getting used too.

    Thanks Hoss. Well I've got 60 miles on it and the shifting is getting better every time I drive it. Still kind of tough getting into reverse at times but hopefully that will improve with a few more miles! Thanks Clay for giving up 70* Saturday to crawl under my truck to help!

    Well after driving it around today, the clutch engagement is about right, in the middle to upper pedal travel. I'm going to change the fluid and see if that helps trying to get it to go into reverse easier. At this point it is tough to get into reverse. Forward gears are getting better though.

    That was my first thought too. Tried adjusting out. It gave me more pedal but didn't help with the problem.
  12. I just finished installing a new SB OFE clutch in my 02 2500 4x4. While the truck is not running I can row through the gears. Once the truck is started it won't go into gear. New pilot bearing & throw out bearing. Install went pretty much without a hitch other than a little while to get the input shaft started. I also installed new SB hydraulics last week BEFORE the new clutch and everything worked fine. Also if I put the truck in gear and start it the clutch wants to disengage just above the floor. It was suggested to pump the clutch pedal several times at wait a few and do it again and again, to "reset" the SB hydraulics. I did this 4 or 5 times and it may have helped a little but is still a bear to get into any gear easily.The pedal pressure seems fine other than it is defiantly easier that the stock setup. Anyone have any ideas? TIA Phil

    Dave, I know the Honda's are pricey but I feel you get what you pay for. I have 2 of the 2000i's with a parallel kit to produce 4000 watts. It will run the A/C, microwave, charger/converter and whatever else we want to run in our 32' 5r. IMHO you can't go wrong with these. As stated above though, the 3000i you can remote start and probably still run all I can with mine. Phil
