    New truck needed.

I have been told by the owner to go pick out a new company truck. I find that I have no clue about the options on the new dodge trucks or even if dodge is the best truck to buy. Apparently he thinks my 01 sport doesn't say get to work the boss arrived and wants me riding high. I found the big horn I like the looks of the most and a sunroof is a must for me. (guess I'm solar powered) Anyway I'm assuming I'd want a dodge but I'm wondering where to buy a new truck? What area might allow us to pay the least in taxes? (I have a hard time spending other peoples money even) Is Dave Smith really the place to go? They would have us pay local taxes for 98168 one if the highest I think. Open you thoughts, experience, suggestions. Looking for 4 door long bed diesel 4x4 (full personal use also) I see now they have rear suspension Leaf Coil Air Is air a super great ride? I find the local dealer not informative nor do I trust a sales man's opinion. Thanks for your input. Sincerely (they guy to busy to buy a new truck) Sent from my SM-G892U using Tapatalk

    2002 5.9 bus engine

When I used a 56 series block from a freight liner the oil cooler used different filter. all looked the same until the oil filter didnt fit and I found it now cost me 3x as much. and turbo was different but I didn't use it. also make sure you have a crank case vent! You should be able to find out how the pistons and compression ratios very from a pickup engine by the cpl number.

  6. Not sure if this one is a scenicruise or not can't tell on my phone. Every time I have driven by I forget to look close until it's too late. Sent from my SM-G892U using Tapatalk
  7. I'll check back in with the one in my neighborhood. Sound alike the guy didn't call you back? It took off for a trip a few weeks ago. Used to be a yellow one in clear view wa off hwy 9, I'll see if I can find a map link to another one I think is a scenicruise. Sent from my SM-G892U using Tapatalk

    por15 paint

Yes it is. I will $ to. However I use mostly zero rust. A step before but way cheaper and works great over rust. Holds up for years well, coming on 2 decades now. I've it is much easier to paint over and can be just for all enamel primers. Por 15 has a short window you can paint it. Sent from my SM-G892U using Tapatalk
  11. I am a big fan of the large isx had had several 05-08 kw trucks with cats and cummins. The cummins did me great. Absolutely loved my 08 factory 600hp 2050 lbs foot torque isx. Smoothest running truck engine I have ever driven. Good on fuel compared to other like year trucks. However I personally don't think you can best an N-14 select plus red top 525 1850 cpl2025 without low Knox update. 30,000 lb W900B dump truck empty I got 11-12 mpg and pulling 105,500lbs around puget sound averaged 5.25 and the n-14 is a cheap rebuild and does not need to be done at a super shop. Easy engine to backyard build. I'd say it's like a series 60 but actually makes power and has great Jake's. With e log mandates late 90's trucks have been rising in price while early 2000's are dropping quick. They are also to old to be in the piers soon. So they are getting cheap. Don't be afraid to buy a short truck. Get the setup you want. It's not hard to stretch a truck. And you can simply just extend the back rails and move the plate back. A large 5th wheel rv wouldnt need to be any farther forward than direct above the rear most axle or even a few inches behind. Anyway long rant off enjoy the truck hunt. If you find anything around Nebraska I have a friend runs around could take a look for you. Sent from my SM-G900T using Tapatalk

  13. Yea I don't think the wheel cylinders I ll be a problem. I'd like the tail lights. I worry about them just washing the car. Let alone raking it places or when it's in the shop with everything moving around. I have no spare rim and one bent rim I need to replace that will hold the factory hub caps. I used one of the tires on my 1963 Riviera and didn't realize it didn't fit until I pulled the center in and now back on the Packard it wobbles. Sent from my SM-G900T using Tapatalk
  14. Not a bad idea. We have a local house opening that has done small stuff for us pretty cheap. And I don't think the heat would affect it. Not a bad idea I would think. Sent from my SM-G900T using Tapatalk
  15. Pm with contact info sent. Sorry I forgot his name. He is expecting your call sometime. I haven't said much to him or what you want to do with it. If you like we could talk first I'll tell you what I know about it and it's condition. In short it is functional and he uses it when he travels for some pool tournaments. I will say it's aged a lot since I drove it last. It needs to be remodeled to be nice. It is at its shell a very usable bus having even its factory air conditioning setup still on the engine.
