Finally back together and running again. All in my front driveway. All during rain storms.

I hate WA 9 months of the year

I found a PRISTINE 6.0 that had rear damage. I was the very first person to get at the truck!!! So happy. Got the cooler out, went around the yard and grabbed some electronics connectors etc that i'd previously seen around the vehicle. One of which i had snapped off my headlight while disassembling yesterday.

Onward to a better build!

If i grab the 191 delivery valves, what more do i need for the P7100?

Edit: Holy cow.. .080 vs .030 on the 191 valves.. Double the fuel?

So i went down to Ben's place (TorqueMonkey) and we did some fiddling around on my engine.

We installed the 4K GSK kit successfully, and slid the AFC housing forward just a touch. I currently have a #10 fuel plate installed.

The truck has a ton more response between 1200 and 2200 RPM, but seems to choke if i go much higher.

I have 60lb springs to install still, and am purchasing ARP studs.

Ben mentioned i should go with bigger injectors and potentially upgrade my 175hp P7100.

Time for the Cummins experts to take a gander! Advise is more than welcome at this point. I'd like to get solid power up through 3k RPM if possible, using mostly what i have. What do you guys think?

Next was to eliminate the nasty rusted FRONT bumper it had. This thing had been exposed to horse manure for a while, and was smashed up!

So after removal, i started sizing some 2x6x1/4" tube

Here is the initial tube with cuts made at the spots i wanted bends.

Once the initial cuts were made i could start fleshing it out with 1/4" flat steel.

And then with some additional cuts / grinding / etc. This was the "finished" product for a little while

The rear bumper had totally rusted out. The brackets were the only item worth saving!

Sooo i built this bumper from 3x6x1/4 tube and diamond plate

Installed some mounting locations for LED backup lights.

Finally sprayed it down with rustoleum gloss black. Turned out great and this stuff TRULY holds up!

The trick is degreasing all the steel before you spray.

And installed (Before welding the seams)
