Big Russ 493
Way cool! I've had some weird engine swap ideas, although that one isnt weird. How about an VW ALH Diesel Pontiac Fiero? Or the same Fiero with an LS motor.

marksmith 945
I'd personally like to see decent harnesses and seats. Cage won't help if you're rattling around inside.

I think the whole sleeper thing contributed to that. The cage is the giveaway, go ahead and do real seats and 5 points!
HOSS 2,969
Our load test guy at work has a VW bus with a similar engine in it. He dynoed it at 490 at the tiresSent from my SM-P610 using Tapatalk
megacabcummins 142
Mule Outfitters had a Syncro with a turbo Subi in it. One day I was coming to work when I lived in Burlington and I was coming up on an old VW bus. Didn't look like much except for the really FAT tires. Then I got closer and it DID NOT sound like a VW bus, it had a low throaty rumble. You could barely see the cowling inside the went right up behind the rear seats, but just behind the wheel opening in the rear were those little Chevrolet 454 badges. Some old hippy guy driving with the biggest grin and a tie die shirt and hat. I was instantly jealous lol....
