Well I found out one thing the Beetle is 1st in class in.

Take it to a tint shop....   Those guys will tell you it's the hardest thing out there...  They tell me the New Vett is a close 2nd.

Wow what a difference that made. No more headlights beaming in the back.  Changed the appearance a little to.

Do I have to post a picture now or can it wait until I get a "Few" other things done?

Including a Big Bath....

The rear window of the beetle is the hardest for tinters to do. When they have tinting competitions and yes it is a thing they use a Volkswagen Beetle rear window.

Exactly what I was told.  I'll try and get a picture today after work.   The truck got re-done also.

Got a list of stuff I'll be changing.  Brakes and Suspension are next.

New Brake parts showed up yesterday. 1 Day from order to door.. Wow

I still have to order the rest of the suspension parts.  I think that will take a few days to get here.

Suspension parts ordered.  Also ordered the skid plate.  New Glow plug harness, and all new filters.  Pretty sure I'll be adding a Bluetooth deck and that should about do it.

Going to polish the headlights or replace. I have all new LED lights for everywhere to put in.

Do a really good cleaning inside and out.  Think I'll claybar and wax it but that will be when the weather gets better.

I had really good luck wet sanding and spraying 2k clear on them. I've done a couple of sets and the owners are very happy.

Well the lights look better but the clear wrinkled so I may do them over.

The bug had a big weekend. Headlights got done and they got all LED bulbs.

A bunch of other spots got LED bulbs.

It got Washed, Clay barred and Waxed.

It got the Center console armrest replaced.

All the parts are here for the chassis stuff and that should get put on in the next couple of weeks I'm guessing.

Made the Appointment with Mike at Diesel Outfitters to get all the above parts installed.  Mid March.

Going to make an appointment to have the inside detailed.  Shampoo and Extract is part of the plan.

That’s a sweet looking car Paul. You had a Jetta before right? I’m curious, what made you decide to get a beetle instead? More room up front for you?
