Offroad Lights

Recommended Posts

I had a set of 6" KC Daylighters in my bumper for years.  Unfortunately the way the bumper is setup, there isnt enough room to aim them very well.

So I took them out and got some Chinesium 5" LED's from Amazon about a year ago.

they do not work anymore...

Anyone have any ideas for offroad lights (Probably spot's like the KC's) that are reliable for less than a hundred bucks?  Everything I'm seeing is $250-400.

I may put the KC's back in and try to find a way to aim them...

I know...  Trick is cheap and cheap isnt trick...

Always had good luck with Lifetime LED, best part about them is they actually honor their warranty, and fairly quickly. I've heard good things about Black Oak also....

Another vote for Lifetime LED's here I have there 5" round spots in my bumper on the 02. I don't remember what they cost but I don't think they were much over $100.00 always perform and they have been on the truck for years.

Russ I have 6" KC;s in my Buckstop They were a bugger to aim but I got it done. Don't ask me how. The 81 year old memory isn't to good any more.

Mine want to point up for some reason and I cant get the far enough away from the bumper steel to make a difference.  Maybe if I take the rock protectors off.

These will be hard to beat.

And since they are HID, they wont ice over like LEDs will.

Looks like I'd have the same trouble or worse with these, they are deeper.  but interesting..

Re. Buckstop and lights, i ended up with Hella Black magics in mine as they were not so deep.

Put in 100 watt bulbs are they work ok.

That is the problem. I don't use them. I have a stainless mesh mounted between the bucket and the bumper.
