Yes the shaft was delivered. It got hung up in a few spots along the way. Like Scotty said, he did some bird dogging for me in ND 👍

Now it all make more sense. what type of bearing and how is it lubricated?

Babbitt/tilting pad bearing, sits in a big oil bath. It’s an amazing piece of equipment, everything rides on a film of oil that’s about 0.001-0.002” thick. If the machine alignment is good 1-2 guys can rotate that weight pushing with their feet.
