Is the 04.5 a good candidate for the Colt cam?

My buddy is asking. His truck is partway disassembled, and he also has some 50 hp injectors to install.

I don't know about that year, but it seems that the newer the truck model is, the greater the benefits of a cam.

Yes, it is. The earlier CR trucks have the in cylinder EGR and benefit from a cam change.

 

I have a Colt Stage 2 in my truck and have for close to 10 years....

My old girl really likes the colt cam Dave installed... Works loverly!!
