Anybody camped and fished Rufus Woods we usually go every year and stay at cabin by the river on the Timms ranch but it's no longer available I'm looking for other options where do you all go on Rufus or other places

I have fished there a couple times and stayed at the state park just above the Chief Joseph dam.

Its a long haul from the catch pens if thats where your looking to fish but The park is very nice it has a great dock and boat launch and mooring to keep your boat in the water, 

There are big trout and walleye to be caught there. Our daughter caught a 9lb trout off the bank last year.

Theres no fish in that ocean. LOL but that campground is nice.

Ya we like to fish the pens there is usually about 8 or so of us and we use 24' pontoon boats so it's a little tougher to do much else they don't troll to well we have stayed at the boat in camp ground in the summer time but it's a haul to the pens as well

I read a few days ago there is a big RV park about to be completed right by the pens

No I need to check on it. They are supposed to build a new boat launch as well.
