Hey Guys,

Is there any interest on the board here if i were to do a complete write-up on my Excursion build?

I'm about 99% done with mine, and while the info is fresh I thought I might make a complete guide on the build from start to finish.

Let me know!

Looking forward to the read.

If you figure the best way to install a driver-side starter on a ZF, i'll do it! =)

Definitely, I have wanted to do this, almost pulled the trigger about 6 years ago!!

Did you do all the wiring so everything works (gauges, cruise and all)

Duct Tape!    I'm just kidding of course about the starter location and duct tape....but there may be hope for an electrical tape solution!    :D

The pics you have posted so far look like a nice, clean conversion and am looking forward to reading through your build  including the dash gauges.

Gauges work (no tach yet), Cruise was intentionally removed and i used that harness for my voltage regulator w/ the dodge alternator. I slimmed EVERYTHING that was not used out of the harnesses. Removed all but 5 wires from the 42-pin, etc.

Did you keep all the a/c front and rear?  What motor did it have to start with?

I ditched the AC. I could have kept it in the truck, but i don't honestly care either way. I'm a windows-down guy, even with AC in my rigs. The Excursion had a V10
