    Thinking about 33X12.50X20's

Hey Mark would the ProCal work on his (Russ’s) truck? I haven’t heard back from AEV on their latest stuff. I have a friend of mine that has a 2014 3500 short bed crew and he wants to do a 4” lift and 35’s. He has 20’s and we’re leaning towards 18’s and 35’s for more sidewall cushion.

    Thinking about 33X12.50X20's

I need to ask this question when I’m back at work on Monday. 19 and newer there are some compatibility issues with this. There are ways to recalibrate the older trucks easier.

    1000ftlbs of torque

They can void warranty for lift kits. Dunno about tires/wheels...2019 and newer jeeps/rams have had issues with oversized tires due to more complex tire monitoring that’s tied into more computers for shift points etc. I was giving Gary a hard time about how he’s gently and carefully stepping onto that slippery slope lol.

I only shared I didn’t see a benefit to do those. You may feel differently. I do know that anything you do after purchasing is not keeping it STOCK lol

6x6 Ford doing it wrong. LOL

That looks like it was built with a lot of skill. The dude that took the video was really into his own ‘voice’ and shredding the guy. I would want to help and get a closer look at the 6x6. JMSO

    New backup lights

Just an FYI if’n anyone is inclined to drill a hole for the round lights in any bumper. I’m 99.999% certain you will need a 4.5” hole saw not a 4” due to the rubber mount for the 4” round lights. It would be a hassle to try and cleanly open the 4” hole to accommodate the rubber gasket/seal and the light.

One could always duct tape a large amber clearance light. 🤓 I’m here to help.

4th gen tow mirrors with light on a 3rd gen

Hoss, this might not be the case on your year of truck but my 2012 had puddle lights that failed and when I checked into it I learned that its a sealed dumb azz design and if I wanted the lights to work, I had to replace the mirrors! I suspect someone somewhere has figured out a better more economical fix.

Gary had a flatbed on his old truck and had it insured. Maybe he’ll chime in.
