  1. Talked with the owner this morning. He says, the insurance company said, "frame twisted enough to crack the block". He took the insurance money. Sorry to get anybody's hopes up.
  2. No pictures until tomorrow. He is not sure where it is stored.
  3. He said they rolled it on a rollback, all tires are good. Engine was running after the accident, he shut it off getting out of the truck. I will work on pictures tomorrow. It is in the tow yard now, waiting for decisions to be made.
  4. I just talked to him again. He would prefer to sell the truck complete. $2500.
  5. A guy I worked with totaled his '98 2wd dually last week, with about 186K on it. Front end and cab damage. Automatic trans. Anybody in the market for a parts truck? Edit: $2500 for the whole package, doesn't was to part it out. No room.

  8. I went from a 8 1/2 Lance, to a 5th wheel close to this. You will love it!
  9. First time fishing for walleye, this weekend. Stayed at Plymouth Park, across from Umatilla. Went with a guide and had a great day!
  10. North on 395. This trip was a learning experience on how far to go in a day, and stopping to smell the roses. (or coffee!)
  11. We got back last week from a 4000 mi loop. Redmond, Idaho, Utah (Moab), Arizona, Nevada, Death Valley, Tahoe, Oregon and home. My ‘19 pulling our little 5er, 13,000 lb?, was a pleasure to travel in. The short hill north out of Reno was the only place I thought it was going to slow down, if it was longer.... 12,000mi on the truck now, it should get better!
  12. Cruise control. 65 mph. Only has 8K miles on it.
  13. My '19 dually will do 13, if empty.
  14. I mentioned this to Hoss. He may be trying it out. I used 3-5 drops of peppermint oil on cotton balls, under the house years ago. The boxes of treats were not touched the next day. Probably 2 or 3 cotton balls under the hood should detour the varmints. They will come back when the oil wears off.
  15. I have been asking about heated floors for a couple of years. Obviously, talking to the wrong people. Any specific brands you are referring to?
  16. Yes, 20K. Hitch install instructions: RVK3500 (pn 3500-100) 06 15 2020.pdf (bwtrailerhitches.com) Not that any of us follow them.....
  17. Turnoverball® Gooseneck Hitch | B&W Trailer Hitches Companion™ Fifth Wheel Hitch | B&W Trailer Hitches
  18. You might need a slider for clearance to the cab with a short box. Edit: Looking at the B&W page, there may be enough adjustment for the trailer to clear the cab.
  19. Good to hear you are getting equipment moved around. Sorry to hear your rebuild is not going as expected. I am trying to get back into the swing of things, after my knee replacement. Wish I could have helped earlier!
  20. I had wheel to wheel nerf's on my '01 2500. They were showing wear after 10 years when I had to take them off, and I put on torklift tie downs.
  21. I used an aluminum plate with soapy water or grease, and just slide the wheels and hub out. I was a lot younger then.....
