  6. I was all set up to do this once before but sold the trucks off because I couldn’t bear taking apart a nice burb and a nice CTD. A couple of years later my brother in-law wrecked the dodge and I found a burb with a hinky motor. In retrospect I think I would have liked to do a quad cab dually square like the burb or a 70s quad cab truck. But I’m very happy with what I have here. On my Facebook page for the build “Moby Project” I admit I really did this the hard way where I changed things I didn’t have to and I took on other things that were more for comfort like seat heaters and dynamat. I
  7. Yeah, you too! That was the best part of the show. Been showing off pix of your rod to my pals at work. I really liked that desoto that we were standing next to also. It was a fun day! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. Thanks guys! Well, most of the peeps doing this swap just run the springs that were on the burb. However, I plan on beefing up the front springage a bit to lift it an inch and compensate for the weight of the motor and bumper. I am running a stock 96 12er, nv4500, np241 DLD modified, Dana 80 and a 78-79 Ford Dana 60 up front. I’d like to bump the power up a little and preserve or optimize mileage in the process it I’m not sure exactly the best way to do that. My hx35 is still pretty good but I see a fin starting to curl so I’m thinking a new turbo is in the works. Presently it will spin for

  10. Here’s my 12er swap that I finally got on the road not so long ago. Took me over three years to get it together. All the details that no one really notices. Here’s a few pix! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. Comparison of new to old. Spent some quality time inspecting parts and cleaning. Checking the fingers for uniformity. All torqued up and correctly aligned. My first clutch. Funny how many times I've taken rigs apart and put them back together without doing a clutch.
  12. Clutch parts here! Look how easy easy-off gets that grease off!
  13. Called Peter and he confirmed what I needed. 13125OK 😊 Very friendly guy and he even gave me a few tips for my master/slave get up! Thanks Peter!!!
