Friend of mine took his son out again this year and since he doesnt eat deer, briught is another on this year. He had a 1/2" layer of fat on the outside and multiple layers of fat underneath. I believe its gonna be a long cold winter. Now I need to try and deliver on my end as the previous 5yrs have been unsuccessful and I took a break last year. Sent from my SM-G900R4 using Tapatalk

Actually it’ll screw up my mowing routine. I use a grooming brush on the mower to make nice straight lines (like a ball field), now I’ll have to mow around the circle. I did set the bricks at a height that I can mow over the edge without needing to use the weed wacker 😁.

    Dead pedal on the beetle.

I was wrong again . I need to keep making these bad assumptions, it saves me from grief The race pipe was loose and a couple of bolts missing. Super easy fix, but I will need a new gasket. 25 psi tends to destroy things.

    Dead pedal on the beetle.

Mine would start and idle but when the pedal was pushed nothing would happen...it was a bad ECU.

    Dead pedal on the beetle.

I tried starting a new topic but the internet is too flakey. The beetle is rolling coal like a pro. Low boost and real James Bond smoke. I get 3-5 psi on the gauge, so I doubt anything came off like a pipe connection. I will be pulling codes whii get home.

When are you headed over Dan? Are you taking Hwy 20? Keep in touch, maybe we can meet somewhere along the way for a quick handshake.

And you just happened to come this weekend when I am headed to Pateros....guess I won't stop by.......😒 Can haul light objects from the Covington goat ranch to Pateros area or from there back to the goat ranch. Camping trailer in tow so nothing big or heavy.

Looks like this weekend I'll make my annual trip to see my good buddy in Marblemount. I'm planning to head up on Thursday, will likely go down to Mount Vernon on Friday to do a couple things, spend the weekend in Marblemount and head home on Sunday. Mostly empty truck with a canopy going both ways if someone needs anything moved in that general direction.

    12 Valve Injectors question

That's a fact. I was running OEM Bosch 370s (from PDR back in the day) and they were pretty dirty as expected. I then got a killer deal on a set of brand new DDP4s and swapped those in expecting them to clean up the idle haze a bit, not really any improvement. I don't think I noticed much improvement in power either. Brian (I think I got that right), there's nothing "unsafe" about running big injectors on a stock pump, it won't hurt the pump, you'll just get to a point where you're not getting the full benefit from the big injectors, just a bunch of heat and smoke with crappy mileage. It all depends what you're planning on doing with this truck but if you're hungry for a bit more power I'd consider ditching that #5 plate and either custom grinding a "#100" out of a stock plate or installing a #10, you could pick up 50hp over that #5. I'm out of the loop on injectors these days but bigger isn't always better.
